Learning to fly...it's just not that easy.

As I embarked on the first flight, the release of ONE LOVE ONE HEART: A Big Fish Story, I was soaring for two days.  Then a downdraft came from out of nowhere, leaving me dusting off my coat tails once again after I came crashing down.

You see, I received some inaccurate information with regards to copyright law.  I also felt the pull of the spiritual world.  For instance, it felt like Satan was doing everything in his power to keep the words of ONE LOVE ONE HEART from hitting the streets.

Within 48 hours of releasing, the dream of publishing went from euphoric to committing writers suicide.  I mean, the tremendous outreaching of friends from all walks of life congratulating the efforts, to "please pull it down."  To say I was beside myself would be an understatement.

Considering our creator summoned me to accomplish this task, he does not take no for an answer.  This said, ONE LOVE ONE HEART would come down off its release thrown, finding itself back at the drawing table with a list of fix-its that could have potentially derailed the project from ever reaching its potential, or getting re-released.

There have been a few times during the past in which I would walk away from the project, determining it was just not meant to be.  Sometimes these were business ideas; "got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em."  However, as I said earlier, when our creator commissions the project, there would be no 'fold em' thoughts.

In light of the fact that I needed to do a remodel, if you will, I am of the belief now that this finished project is more authentic, less abrasive in one aspect of the story-line, and will now remain in history as the final version.

Note:  Although Satan has had some great wins in his history, what he does not know about is the fact that when he wants to mess with me he is going to find that I will scrap, claw, fight, and work.  There will be no quit, no taking my ball and going home, no letdown.  I'll play until the game is officially over.  I hope he is willing to go to eternity in this game.  Like Rambo; "It ain't ova until I say it's ova."  In this context, until the Good Lord says its ova ;).

Dear Friends;

       Don’t you just love this time of year, anticipating the voice of Jim Nantz getting us ready for the Masters in Augusta.  I can almost smell the marigolds from my little perch up here at 7000 feet elevation.  In any regard, I simply love Jim welcoming us all with his soft spoken and kind words…
“Hello Friends.” ;).

       As often needed in this chaos of a life we live, I thought I would inspire you today with these two quotes below.  Feel free to guess the authors…

       1-“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, although checked by failure, than to rank with those cold and timid souls who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, for they live in the great twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”

       2-“Life begins when we get out of our comfort zone”

       With this intro, I am proud to let you all know I have officially stepped out of my comfort zone.  Wow, life begins again…indeed!  Maybe it begins a new trail to another summit?  Nonetheless, it is heading towards a peak of some sort…that is the plan anyway. ;)

       A few months ago I teased an idea of giving you something in way of gold.  The gold is not a material substance at this point; rather, a bit of gold when it comes to understanding the world we occupy.  I’ve teased at the idea of writing a book for many years; inspired by the boldness, braveness, and blessings of friends of ours that go by the names of Stevenson, Shepper, and Sutton.  These men stepped out of their comfort zone to bring us a story about the A, B, C’s of their interest or passion.  They remind in several ways of the benefit of understanding past President Teddy Roosevelt’s quote above.  They also are like Neil Donald Walsh, a great kayak-er who sits atop a class five rapids…”life begins when we get out of our comfort zone,” not afraid to tackle the unknown.

       As a proud member of this great nation for 59 years, I felt it time to step out of my comfort zone and bring you a really really really Big Fish Story.  The title of the book is ONE LOVE ONE HEART  A Big Fish Story.  It is my attempt to give you a little bit of gold. 
I was truly inspired to get a message out…you will understand why when you read it.  Without wanting to spill to many of the beans, I’ll leave you with the idea that I was also inspired by our creator; divine intervention if you will.

       He wanted me to share! 

​       Share the research I did over the past year and share a relationship with you that I think you will find entertaining, enjoyable, enlightening, and interesting.

       I’ve been motivated for many years to help scientist find cures for deadly diseases.  I’ve often wondered what it would be like if we all contributed a little bit to help those in the know get smarter.  There would not be any resources shortage if we could all contribute just a little bit to help in the acquisition of that knowledge.  So, this little story I wrote about ONE LOVE ONE HEART has an ulterior motive: To contribute to the massive campaign to find cures.  It is a small step for me; but, could attribute to a giant step for mankind if the plan goes as intended.  I’ll thank you in advance for purchasing this book...it is a conduit to a cure...and helping me in this quest to help others!

     To every ending there is a beginning.  This said, I am embarking on another childhood dream.  A dream that will offer a platform to write.  Way way way back in the day, I was a student that wanted to explore being a journalist.  I was elected to be a writer for the school newspaper.  I wrote about the sports activities that were taking place on the campus.  After few years of writing about them I had an epiphany.  Lol, that epiphany was that I enjoyed playing the game more so than writing about it.  I concentrated on the later.  As I contemplate that move today...maybe I should have continued on that trail because I truly enjoy the art of writing. 

     A well known authority, Anthony Robins, suggested in a seminar I attended several years ago "A life worth living is a life worth documenting."  As I reflect now on those encouraging words, it remains clear that with the technological advancements in modern publishing I have no excuse to not bring some great thoughts and ideas to the world through this vehicle of communication.

     It will be a chance to allow some of those thoughts and ideas to resonate with those who find similar interest.  I have a tremendous amount of passion for life, and also a passion to document it.  In the solitude and remoteness of the "blog-o-sphere" I'll aim to bring you inspiration, motivation, passion, and encouragement.  I most often have a story or two to tell to do just these things. ;)

     I'll thank you in advance for your interest.  I'll definitely do my best to bring you my "A" game.  I'll promise that, like in life, that "A" game is desired but there will be times it is not up to par.  So, let me promise less and hopefully deliver more.  In all regards, I'll do my best to bring you current and relevant thoughts, ideas, and concepts to brighten your journey.

     Here is to making this new aspect of the journey a platform in which great thoughts and ideas inspire great people to do the same.  I am tremendously excited to be your host in this regard.  My mindset going in is quite simple and reflects the passion in which a past USA president delivered these words...
